Why Factur-X
Factur-X (identical to German ZUGFeRD 2.x) is the format French businesses will exchange under the 2026-2027 reform, and one of the formats accepted for German B2B e-invoicing. Because the PDF part stays visible, your customers keep reading invoices exactly as before — but accounting systems and platforms ingest the embedded XML automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Factur-X vs ZUGFeRD — what's the difference?
Technically none since ZUGFeRD 2.1: same XML, same container. 'Factur-X' is the French name, 'ZUGFeRD' the German one.
Which profile do you generate?
EN 16931 (COMFORT) — the profile required for tax-compliant exchange in both countries. MINIMUM/BASICWL profiles are not sufficient for German B2B from 2025 onward.
Can I use the output with my PDP?
Yes. You download a standard Factur-X file and submit it through whatever channel you use — a PDP, Chorus Pro (B2G), or e-mail where still allowed.
